GP FOR REVENUE The Court made the following: ORDER Heard Sri M.Chiranjeevi Babu, learned counsel representing Sri A.Syam Sundar Reddy, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Chandra Sekhar, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue for the respondents 1 to 4. Notice in respect of 5th respondent is dispensed with, since no adverse order effecting his rights or interests is passed. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the 5th respondent filed RoR appeal vide Roc.No.B1/2387/2020 before the 3rd respondent under Section 5 (5) of the Andhra Pradesh Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Book Act, 1971 r/w Rule 21 of the Andhra Pradesh Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Rules, 1989. He would submit that 3rd respondent is not disposing of the appeal to date. 3. Sri Chandra Sekhar, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue for the respondents 1 to 4, on instructions of 3rd respondent, would submit that all the assignment appeal case records were gutted in a fire accident that occurred on 21.07.2024. In order to reconstruct those files, all the advocates were informed to submit connected records, and based on those records, cases are taken up afresh for hearing. In fact, a notice was issued to the appellant and respondent to attend the enquiry on 21.09.2026 and the Tahsildar, Ramasamudram, is also directed to conduct the enquiry and submit a report. 4. In reply, learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner received the notice and will be attending the enquiry today at 4.00 p.m. 5. Given the facts and circumstances of the case, the Writ Petition is disposed of at the admission stage with the consent of learned counsel on either side, directing the 3rd respondent to dispose of the RoR appeal vide Roc.No.B1/2387/2020 within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, strictly as per law.
