Learned High Court Government Pleader raises a preliminary objection that the prayer in the writ petition is to issue directions to respondent No.2-Deputy Commissioner, Mysore District to consider the representations given by the petitioner at Annexure-A dated 23.05.2024 in the light of the - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:19596 WP No. 2882 of 2026 letter written by the Principal Secretary, Revenue Department, on 19.02.2025 at Annexure-E to the Deputy Commissioner. 3. Learned High Court Government Pleader submits that the grievance of the petitioner is that illegal entries have been made in the RTC in the name of one Smt. Lakshmamma, and the petitioner is seeking directions to remove the illegal entry. However, such directions cannot be given by this Court, since an appropriate legal remedy is provided under Chapter XI of the Karnataka Land Revenue Act, 1964, for a person to raise a challenge to any entry made in the RTC and seek changes in the RTC and the petitioner will have to approach the competent authority to redress his grievance. 4. There is substance in the submission made by the learned High Court Government Pleader. 5.
