2. The present petition has been filed seeking a direction to respondent no.1/MCD to enforce and execute the statutory notices issued under Sections 348 and 349 of the Delhi Municipal Corporation Act, 1957 (‘DMC Act’) in respect of the First Floor, Property No.501/5, Nai Basti, Kishan Ganj, Delhi-110007 (‘subject property’).

W.P.(C) 8818/2026 respondent no.1/MCD submits that the aforesaid notices were issued in respect of the entire property. The aforesaid notices could not be enforced in view of the ongoing litigation going on between the parties. She submits that now that the pending litigation between the parties is over, MCD shall proceed in accordance with law in respect of the aforesaid notices.
4. Accordingly, the present writ petition is disposed of while directing the respondent no.1/MCD to take appropriate action in accordance with law.
5. All rights, contentions and legal remedies of the parties are kept open.
