CRIMINAL PETITION NO: 7511 of 2025 The Court made the following Order:
Instant Criminal Petition, under Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, has been filed on behalf of the petitioners herein (A1, A3 and A4), seeking to quash the proceedings in FIR in Crime No.76 of 2025 of Madanapalle I Town Police Station, Annamayya District, for the offences punishable under Section 82(1) and 318(4) r/w 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 and Section 173(3) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023. 2. At the stage of admission, this Court has not granted any interim order in the instant lis. 3. Learned Assistant Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of respondent-State on written instructions submits that the police referred the FIR in Crime No. 76 of 2025 of Madanapalle I Town Police Station, Annamayya District as “False” vide C.No.272/RC-SDPO(M)/2026 dated 09.08.2025 issued by the concerned authority. 4
4. Learned counsel for the petitioners also acceded to the submission made by learned Assistant Public Prosecutor. 5. Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is closed, as the main criminal case itself was referred as “false”. However, it is made clear that all the remedies are left open to the respective parties to proceed, in accordance with the law.
