The complainant has filed the present complaint alleging willful disobedience of the order dated 04.02.2025 passed by the learned single judge in Writ Petition No.33297/2024 (S-RES). 2. In terms of the said order, the accused was directed to consider the representation of the complainant and pass appropriate orders within a period of four weeks, in the matter of settlement of pensionary benefits. 3. The accused submitted that the same is being done. 4. Learned counsel has also filed a memo indicating that pensionary benefits and arrears of pension have been paid to the complainant from 01.05.2024 to 31.10.2025 and he has been paid regular monthly pension from November 2025 onwards. - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:13975-DB CCC No. 560 of 2025 5. The learned counsel for the complainant does not dispute the same. However, submits that the complainant would be entitled to pension from an earlier date. 6. In view of the above, given the limited directions issued under the order, disobedience of which is alleged, we do not consider it apposite to initiate any proceedings under the Contempt Court Act, 1971. 7. The complaint is accordingly closed. 8. However, this does not preclude the complainant from availing of the substantive remedies in respect to the disbursement, to the claim for pensionary benefits.
