(through V.C.) 02/12.01.2026 :- Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State. 2. The petitioner is seeking regular bail in connection with Chatra Sadar P.S. Case No. 292 of 2025, registered under sections 17(c), 21(c), 22(c), 27(a), 28, 29 of N.D.P.S. Act, pending in the Court of learned Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, N.D.P.S Cases, Chatra. 3. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that from the car in question 253 gram brown sugar was alleged to have been recovered. He further submits that though the car belongs to the petitioner but he was not present at the spot. He further submits that nothing has been recovered from the conscious possession of the petitioner. He also submits that petitioner has got no criminal antecedent which is disclosed in para 7 of the petition. He also submits that recovery has been made from the co-accused Anuj Dangi @ Abhishek Kumar Verma and he has been granted regular bail in B.A. No. 10886 of 2025. He also submits that petitioner is in custody since 06.09.2025. ( 2026:JHHC:615 ) 2 4. Learned counsel for the State appearing through V.C opposes the prayer and submits that recovery of brown sugar is there. 5. Considering that co-accused Anuj Dangi @ Abhishek Kumar Verma from whose possession recovery has been made, he has already been granted regular bail in B.A. No. 10886 of 2025, the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent which is disclosed in para 7 of the petition and petitioner is in custody since 06.09.2025, I am inclined to grant regular bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, shall be released on regular bail, on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned N.D.P.S Cases, Chatra, in connection with Chatra Sadar P.S.
