Heard Mr. K. Kishan Singh, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mrs. L. Monomala, learned GA appearing for the respondents. The present application has been filed with a prayer for allowing amendment of the pleadings made in the connected writ petition being WP (C) No. 52 of 2026 as proposed in paragraphs No. 3 & 4 of the present application. It has been submitted by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner that no new case has been made out by the proposed amendment and unless such amendment is allowed, the petitioner will be greatly prejudiced. Mrs. L. Monomala, learned GA appearing for the respondents fairly submitted that she has no objection in allowing the amendment as proposed in the present application. In view of the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the parties, this Court is of the considered view that it will be in the interest of justice to allow the amendment of the pleadings made in the above mentioned writ petition as proposed at paragraphs No. 3 & 4 of the present application. Accordingly, the present application is allowed. The petitioner is to file a recast of the connected writ petition within a period of 1 week from today. With the aforesaid direction, the present application stands disposed of.
