For the reasons stated, the application is allowed. The writ petition is being taken up for hearing today itself. W.P.(C) 8307/2026 3. The present writ petition has been filed against the impugned demolition order dated 26th May, 2026 issued by the respondent/MCD against the property bearing no. 5218 & 5218-A, Gali No. 5- 6, Krishna Nagar, Karol Bagh, New Delhi (hereinafter ‘subject property’). 4. Since the statutory appellate authority i.e. ATMCD was not in session This is a digitally signed order. Mr. Ankit Jain, senior counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that an appeal along with the application for interim stay has been filed by the petitioner, which was listed before the ATMCD on 3rd July, 2026 and has now been adjourned to 18th August, 2026. 6. In view of the appeal having been filed by the petitioner before the ATMCD, the present writ petition has become infructuous and is accordingly disposed of as such. 7. Needless to state, the ATMCD shall consider the application for interim stay filed by the petitioner on 18th August, 2026. Till the application for interim stay filed by the petitioner is considered by the ATMCD on 18th August, 2026, no coercive steps shall be taken by MCD qua the subject property. 8.
