The present writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent no.1/MCD to demolish the unauthorized construction upto four (4) floors plus basement and illegal commercial shops, carried out by the respondent no.2 without any approval at property bearing no. O-212, 213, Vani Vihaar, Ward No. 115, Uttam Nagar, New Delhi-110059 (hereinafter the ‘subject property’). The unauthorised construction of the subject property has also resulted in encroachment of public land. 2. Various complaints have been sent by the petitioner to the respondent no.1/MCD. 3. Taking note of the aforesaid submissions, the present writ petition is disposed of, while directing the respondent no.1/MCD to act in accordance with law, in an expeditious manner. 6. In the event the petitioner has any further grievance with regard to unauthorised construction, he is at liberty to take appropriate remedies in accordance with law. 7.
