JUSTICE D K SINGH) The appellants herein, who were not parties to the writ proceedings have filed I.A.No.1/2024 seeking to grant leave to file writ appeal. 2. Considering the averments made in the affidavit accompanying the application, I.A.No.1/2024 is allowed. 3. The present intra Court appeal has been filed impugning the judgment and order dated 15.04.2024 passed by the learned Single Judge in W.P.No.10563/2024 (KLR-REG) filed by the respondent Nos.1 to 7 herein. 4. The parties are referred to as per their ranking before the writ Court, for the sake of convenience. 5. The petitioners (7 in number) claim to have submitted applications in 1998-99 in Form No.53 seeking - 5 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:10360-DB WA No. 957 of 2024 regularization of their unauthorized occupation of Government lands all situated in Injanahalli Village. Jadigenahalli Hobli, Hoskote Taluk, Bangalore District. The petitioners filed the writ petition challenging the endorsement dated 11.03.2024 issued by the Tahsildar, Hoskote Taluk, rejecting their applications on the ground that the lands for which the petitioners are seeking regularization are situated within prohibited distance from the boundary of the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike. 6. The learned Single Judge however, has disposed off the said writ petition vide impugned order directing the Tahsildar, Hoskote, that he should decide as to what was the distance between the lands in question and the boundary of then Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike on the date of applications, i.e., in the year 1998-99. If on the measurement and decision, it is found that the lands in question were not within the prohibited distance having regard to the boundaries of the Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike, the Tahsildar shall place the report and applications - 6 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:10360-DB WA No. 957 of 2024 before the Committee, and the Committee should consider the applications of the petitioners and proceed to issue saguvali chits. 7. We do not find any error in the impugned judgment dated 15.04.2024, which requires an interference by this Court. We therefore dismiss the appeal. 8. In view of dismissal of the appeal, pending interim applications, if any do not survive for consideration, accordingly stand disposed of.
