The present writ petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking the inclusion of petitioner’s name in the electoral roll for the forthcoming election for the Depot Works Committee, OSG, Delhi Cantonment, scheduled on 7th July, 2026. 2. The writ petition came up for hearing on 2nd July, 2026 when the counsel for the respondent was asked to obtain instructions. 3. Counsel for the respondent on instructions submits that the name of the petitioner is duly included in the electoral roll for election scheduled on 7th July, 2026. He further submits that the petitioner is also a candidate in the aforesaid elections. 4. None appears on behalf of the petitioner. 5.
