JUSTICE LALITHA KANNEGANTI Digitally signed by SUVARNA T Location: HIGH COURT OF KARNATAKA - 2 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:21693 RP No. 573 of 2025 ORAL ORDER The present review petition is filed seeking the following prayers: "a) Review the order dated 03.09.2025 passed by this Hon'ble Court in W.P.No. 22482/2022 produced at ANNEXURE-F. b) Pass any order of consequential relief or any other appropriate order or direction as this Hon'ble Court deems fit in the facts and circumstances of the case in the ends of justice and equity." 2. The review petition is filed seeking clarification of the order dated 03.09.2025, whereby this Court dismissed the writ petition as infructuous. The said writ petition was filed questioning the order passed in an interlocutory application seeking maintenance in M.C. No. 236/2018. As the main M.C. itself was disposed of, this Court had observed that the writ petition had become infructuous. 3. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner/ husband submits that as on the date, by virtue of an interim order granted by the Court, the petitioner has been paying a sum of Rs.10,000/- to the wife. It is further submitted that the respondents have initiated the recovery proceedings claiming - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:21693 RP No. 573 of 2025 arrears at Rs.15,000/-. The petitioner has the benefit of an interim order at Rs.10,000/- and the said aspect was not clarified by the court. 4. From the date of the interim order till the disposal of the M.C., the petitioner has to pay an amount of Rs.10,000/. Thereafter, as the interim order merged with the main order, the petitioner has to pay, as per the interim order an amount of Rs.15,000/-. This Court is not passing any order against the interest of the respondent, issuance of notice to the respondent is not necessary. 5. In view of the above, this Court is passing the following: ORDER i. Accordingly, the review petition is disposed of. ii. Pending IAs., if any, shall stand closed.
