Nanda, Advocate For the State : Spl.P.P. --- 02/27.04.2026 Heard the learned counsel for the respective sides. This appeal is directed against the order dated 12.03.2026 passed in Misc. Criminal Application No. 370/2026 by the learned Additional Judicial Commissioner-XVIII cum Special Judge CID/ATS, Ranchi, in connection with CID PS Case No. 34/2025 (Sadar PS Case No. 512/2025), whereby and whereunder, the prayer for bail of the appellant has been rejected. It has been alleged that on an information a black coloured Safari vehicle was intercepted by the police and from inside the vehicle several accused persons were apprehended along with arms and ammunitions and other incriminating materials. Submission has been advanced by the learned counsel for the appellant that though the appellant is named in the First Information Report but his name seems to have surfaced on account of the disclosure made by the apprehended accused persons. Learned counsel submits that several of the co-accused persons have been granted bail in Cr. Appeal (DB) No. 1596 of 2025, Cr. Appeal (DB) No. 426 of 2026 and Cr. Appeal (DB) No. 378 of 2026. Learned counsel submits that the appellant is in custody since 17.01.2026. Learned Spl.P.P has opposed the prayer for bail of the appellant and has submitted that the appellant has got several criminal antecedents. However, considering the manner of implication of the appellant and the fact that several co-accused persons have been granted bail, as noted above, we while setting aside the order dated 12.03.2026 passed in Misc. Criminal Application No. 370/2026 by the learned Additional Judicial Commissioner-XVIII cum Special Judge CID/ATS, Ranchi, in connection with CID PS Case No. 34/2025 (Sadar PS Case No. 512/2025) direct the appellant be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rs. Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Judicial Commissioner-XVIII cum Special Judge CID/ATS, Ranchi, in connection with CID PS Case No. 34/2025 (Sadar PS Case No. 512/2025).
