Heard the learned Counsel appearing for the applicant/ respondent No.1/claimant. 02. By the present application, the applicant/original claimant seeks permission to withdraw the remaining amount of compensation along with accrued interest thereon, which is lying with the Registry of this Court. 03. The learned Counsel appearing for the non-applicant/ appellant/Insurance Company has raised no objection. 04. Needless to say that the Insurance Company had filed First Appeal No.302/2015 arising out of the judgment and award dated 17/01/2015 passed by the learned Member, Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, Amravati, in M.A.C.P. No.416/2009. At the time of admission, the Insurance Company deposited the mandatory amount of compensation before this Court. On 07/05/2015, this Court admitted the appeal and granted stay to the effect and operation of the judgment and award dated 17/01/2015, subject to deposit of 75% of the compensation within a period of eight weeks. 2026:BHC-NAG:12625 914.caf.3788.26 2/2 05. In pursuance of the said order, the Insurance Company deposited an amount of Rs.2,78,662/- before this Court on 11/06/2015 along with statutory amount of Rs.25,000/-. On 29/06/2016, this Court passed an order permitting the applicant/claimant to withdraw 50% of the deposited amount along with accrued interest. 06. On 02/02/2026, this Court finally decided the appeal on merits. Therefore, the applicant/respondent No.1/claimant is entitled to withdraw the remaining amount along with accrued interest thereon lying with the Registry of this Court. 07.
