Sanjeev, learned counsel appearing for the appellants. 2. The present intra Court appeal has been filed impugning the judgment and order 27.01.2025 passed by the learned Single Judge in W.P.No.21788/2021(S-RES), filed by respondent No.1 herein. 3. The parties are referred to as per their ranking before the writ Court, for the sake of convenience. 4. The petitioner had challenged his position in the seniority list dated 13.08.2019 of the Junior Engineers in the Bengaluru Water Supply and Sewerage Board. The petitioner was placed at serial No.187 in the said seniority list. The Regulation 16(d) of the Bengaluru Water Supply and Sewerage Board Cadre Recruitment and Promotion - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:10019-DB WA No. 817 of 2025 Regulations, 1981, (for short 'the Regulations') provide for determination of the seniority, which has been taken note of by the learned Single Judge in the impugned judgment at paragraph No.2. As the petitioner's seniority was not fixed in accordance with Regulation 16(d) of the Regulation and therefore, the learned Single Judge has disposed of the said writ petition with the following directions :- "a) The ranking assigned to the petitioner at Sl.No.187 in the seniority list bearing No. dated 13.08.2019 vide Annexure-R in the cadre of Junior Engineer is quashed. b) The respondent Nos.2 and 3 are directed to re-consider and to assign proper ranking to the petitioner taking note of the date of appointment order, in terms of the merit list of the selection and date of appointment. c) Time for compliance : Three months. d) With the above, writ petition stands disposed of." - 5 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:10019-DB WA No. 817 of 2025 5. We are of the considered view, that the impugned judgment and order dated 27.01.2025 does not require an interference by this Court, inasmuch as the direction has been issued to prepare the seniority list as per the provisions of Regulation 16(d) of the Regulation. Thus we dismiss this writ appeal. 6. In view of dismissal of the appeal, pending interim applications, if any, do not survive for consideration, hence stand disposed of.
