3. The gist of accusation in this case is that on 11.04.2026, one Ijaz Ahmed had lodged an FIR before the Officer-in-charge of Dibrugarh Police Station, inter alia, alleging that on 11.04.2026 at about 10:30 AM when the first informant's younger brother, namely, Abid Ali was going to shop for purchasing some household items, suddenly Abdul Mintu Ali, Rinku Ali, Sono Ali and Alfaz Ali started firing at him with pistol/revolver. As a result of which, the younger brother of the first informant sustained injuries on his left eye. It is further alleged in the FIR that later on some other persons including the present petitioners assaulted the first informant and his father when they reached at that place.
4. It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the main accused of the case is Abdul Minto Ali, who alleged to have fired the Pistol injuring the victim and the present petitioners had no role in the aforesaid Act.
5. The learned counsel appearing for the informant has opposed the prayer for bail on the ground that all the persons named in the FIR are involved in the offence.
6. Upon perusal of the case diary, it appears that the principal role is attributed to accused, Abdul Minto Ali who has been arrested subsequently, after he was granted interim pre-arrest bail.
7. Considering the materials available in the case diary, the custodial interrogation of the petitioner may not be necessary.
8. Accordingly, the prayer for interim bail is allowed.
