P.P. --- 05 / 30.03.2026 Heard Mr. Rahul Pandey, learned Counsel for the petitioner and learned Spl. P.P. 2. The petitioner is an accused in connection with Bariatu P.S. Case No. 141/2022. 3. It has been alleged that the petitioner and other accused persons had entered into a criminal conspiracy for acquiring land of MS Plot No. 557 Mauza Morabadi, Ranchi measuring 455 decimals which had been in possession of the Defence since independence. 4. Submission has been advanced by the learned Counsel for the petitioner that the Enforcement Directorate had also instituted a case against the petitioner in ECIR No. 01/2023 in which he has been granted bail in B.A.No. 6314/2025. 5. Learned Counsel submits that some of the other co-accused persons have been granted bail by the Hon’ble Supreme Court in SLP (Crl.) Nos. 823-824 of 2026, SLP (Crl.) No.83 of 2026 and SLP (Crl.) No.1894 of 2026. 6. Learned Counsel adds that the petitioner is in custody since 14.04.2023. 7. Learned Spl. P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner. ( 2026:JHHC:9033 ) 8. Regard being had to the fact that several of the co-accused persons have been granted bail and the petitioner has also been released on bail in ECIR No. 01/2023, the petitioner is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned AJC-I at Ranchi in connection with Bariatu P.S.
