DATE : SEPTEMBER 24, 2026 In response to order dated 01.09.2026, the Section Officer has filed report, saying that the counsel for respondent Nos.2 to 5, while filing affidavit in reply in both the petitions, has given endorsement that copy has been served to the counsel for petitioner by WhatsApp. 2. Thus, it appears that the counsel appearing for respondent Nos.2 to 5 made the registry believe that copy of reply has been served upon the petitioners’ counsel. If such is the situation, in our view, respondent Nos. 2 to 5 would carry the blame. We say nothing further but expect the counsel to be careful in such matters. 3. Learned counsel for respondent Nos.2 to 5 submits that copy will be supplied during the course of the day. Be supplied. 4. Heard. 5. Prayer is to direct respondent No.4 to issue appointment to the petitioners to the post of Additional Asha Worker. The process has already commenced pursuant to circular dated 13.06.2025. Learned counsel for respondent No.4 submits that respondent No.2 has directed all concerned to cancel the entire selection process due to multiple complaints regarding appointment and the selection (2) 12wp6480.5592.25 process. He has also directed to initiate the fresh selection process. He submits that such a statement is made in the reply as well. 6. The statement is accepted. 7. That being so, nothing survives in the petitions. The petitions are accordingly disposed of. The petitioners are at liberty to apply afresh, if the fresh process is initiated.
