Case No. 141 of 2025 for the offence registered under Sections 331(4) and 305(a) of Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 pending in the Court of learned Judicial Magistrate, XVI, Ranchi is pressed into motion. Earlier bail application of these petitioners was rejected by the co- ordinate Bench of this Court on merit and the present bail application is being renewed on the ground that they are in custody for six months and the case is now at its evidence stage. Learned A.P.P. opposed the bail petition. It is submitted that petitioner no.1 has three criminal antecedents and petitioner no.2 has no criminal antecedent. Considering the stage of trial and criminal antecdent, bail application of petitioner no.1- Amresh Kumar Singh stands rejected. Petitioner No.2- Piyush Kumar @ Piyush Karmali is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/-(Twenty Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Court below.
