The grievance of the petitioner in the instant Writ Petition is against the action of the 2nd respondent in issuing the impugned notice dated 15.05.2026 under Sections 405, 406 and 461 of the Andhra Pradesh Municipal Corporations Act, 1955, in respect of the subject property situated in "Royal Towers Flats", Roja Street, Kurnool, for removal of the alleged unauthorized occupation within 7 days from the date of receipt of the notice, failing which the respondents themselves would remove the unauthorized construction without issuing further notice. 3. On 21.05.2026, an interim order was passed in the Writ Petition directing the respondents to issue a fresh Show Cause Notice calling for explanation of the petitioner, in pursuance of the said explanation, to take appropriate action. Till such time, it was directed that no coercive steps should be taken against the petitioner. 4. In compliance with the said directions, it is submitted by Sri Potham Vengala Reddy, learned Standing Counsel for Municipal Corporation that a Show Cause Notice was issued to the petitioner and the petitioner has 3 submitted his explanation; appropriate orders would be passed in accordance with law. 5. Having regard to the same, this Court deems it appropriate to dispose of the Writ Petition directing the respondents to pass orders pursuant to the Show Cause Notice in accordance with law, after giving a due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner. 6. Till the passing of such orders on the Show Cause Notice, no coercive measures shall be taken against the petitioner in respect of the subject property. 7. With the above observation, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
