Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that although respondent No.2/Tahsildar accepts the fact that by virtue of the order passed by the Land Tribunal, Srirangapatna Taluk, in Proceedings No.LRF-25/1975-76 dated 31.03.1975, the lands in question were granted in favour of the petitioner's grandfather, Sri Shive Gowda, son of Kempegowda, nevertheless, the Tahsildar is declining to enter the name of the legal heirs of the original grantee in the RTC on the ground that Form No.10 has not been issued to the original grantee since the premium has not been paid. - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:14067 WP No. 7515 of 2026 3. Learned counsel submits that the petitioner is prepared to pay the premium. Therefore, necessary directions should be issued to respondent No.2/Tahsildar to collect the premium issue Form No.10 and thereafter, enter the name of the legal heirs of the original grantee in the revenue records. 4. Having regard to the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the writ petition stands disposed of, directing respondent No.2/Tahsildar to collect the premium from the petitioner or the legal heirs of the original grantee Sri Shive Gowda, issue Form No.10 and thereafter, enter the name of the legal heirs of the original grantee in the revenue records. The entire exercise shall be completed as expeditiously as possible and at any rate within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
