Jiya Lal Bhardwaj , Judge (Oral) Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the issue raised by him in the present petition is squarely covered by the judgment rendered by this Court in CWP No. 4196 of 2013, titled, Ms. Sushma Rana and others vs. State of Himachal Pradesh & others, decided on 03.07.2015, which stands affirmed by the Division Bench of this Court in LPA No. 88 of 2016, titled, State of Himachal Pradesh and others vs. Ms. Sushma Rana and others, decided on 22.09.2022. 1 Whether reporters of Local Papers may be allowed to see the judgment? 2 2026:HHC:8816 2. Learned counsel for the petitioners has also drawn attention of this Court to the judgments passed in CWP No. 7851 of 2022, titled, Smt. Sangeeta and Ors. Versus State of Himachal Pradesh and Ors., and in CWPOA No. 7936 of 2019, titled, Monika Sharma vs. State of H.P. & Others, decided respectively on 21.03.2024 and 10.10.2025. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioners has also relied upon the judgment passed by this Court on 05.12.2025 in CWP No. 17185 of 2025, titled, Dev Chand versus State of Himachal Pradesh and Ors. 4. Since this Court has already adjudicated upon the issue that the Teachers appointed in the private schools, which are in receipt of grant-in-aid, the respondents are directed to examine the case of the petitioners in light of the dicta of this Court in the aforementioned judgments and in case the petitioners are found similarly situated, respondent-State shall pay due and admissible grant to respondent No.4 from the due date. Needful shall be done by respondents No.1 to 3 within two months from date of receipt of copy of this judgment. In case the petitioners are found entitled to the 3 2026:HHC:8816 amount, the benefits shall be paid to them within three months thereafter, and in case the amount is not paid, respondents No.1 to 3 shall pay interest at the rate of 6% per annum from the due date till its payment. 5.
