Learned advocate for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been arrested on the basis of statement of co- accused and the subject matter of the case relate to 349 grams of heroin recovered from the principal accused persons. Learned advocate for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits that there are call data records, Whatsapp chat and money trail/banking transactions of the petitioner with the principal accused persons. Having considered the same, I am of the view that rigors of Section 37 of the NDPS Act is attracted, as such prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected. Accordingly, CRM (NDPS) 12 of 2026 is rejected.
