The petitioner, above-named is in custody since 17.08.2025 in connection with Chirkunda (Dhanbad) P.S. Case No.191 of 2025 (Special POCSO Case No.130 of 2025) for the offence registered under Sections 96, 64(2)(m), 65(1) and 87 of BNS, 2023 and under Section 6 of the POCSO Act, 2012. It is submitted by the learned counsel on behalf of petitioner that there is no allegation of any sexual assault against the petitioner and further, as per the medical report, age of the victim/ girl is stated to be of 18 years. Her statement was recorded under Section 164 Cr. P.C., wherein she has stated that she wanted to live with this petitioner and by her own sweet will, she along with the petitioner had gone to Asansol, West Bengal. Learned A.P.P. opposed the prayer for bail. Under the circumstances, the above-named petitioner is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/-(Twenty-Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Court below.
