It is stated that petitioner tried to upload documents under Priority – II in which he claims to be falling under. However, no such option was available for uploading documents and it was reflected that it is mandatory for all candidates applying for NEET seats under NRI quota to select Priority-I from NRI priority list to proceed further. 2 WP_27047_2026 3. Learned counsel representing Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) submits that petitioner has not registered for counseling on online portal of MCC. All candidates mandatorily have to register under Priority-I and that policy for sequential NRI allotment under Priority-I and Priority-II formulated in academic year 2025-26 was abolished in said year itself. It is further submitted that third round of counseling insofar as All India Quota / Deemed / Central Universities is concerned, is from 22.09.2026 to 27.09.2026. Schedule thereof has been presented before Court with a copy thereof to learned counsel for petitioner. It is submitted that petitioner can participate in said third round of counseling by uploading relevant information under category Priority-I. In view of above, present writ petition, it is stated, is rendered infructuous. 4. Learned counsel for petitioner, while not denying same, submits that needful shall be done by petitioner for participation in third round of counseling. 5. Writ petition is accordingly disposed of. No costs. Pending miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed.
