By way of the present writ petition, the petitioner is seeking following prayer: “i) Issue writ of mandamus directing the respondent no. 2 to perform its statutory duty and conduct summary proceedings on the application submitted by the petitioner on 03.06.2025 under Rule 22 (3) (1) of the Delhi Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Rules empowers the District Magistrate/Deputy Commissioner and order the eviction of his son Feroz and daughter-in-law Zaida@Huma from his self acquired property on grounds of ill-treatment.” 2.
