Case No. 248 of 2024 (S.T. No. 25 of 2025) for the offence registered under Sections 103(1) and 238(a) of the Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, pending in the court of learned Additional Sessions Judge-IV, Bokaro. Earlier the prayer for bail of this petitioner was dismissed as withdrawn by the Co-Ordinate Bench of this Court vide order dated 13.08.2025 passed in B.A. No. 1155 of 2025. The instant bail application has been renewed on the ground that more than one year has elapsed after framing of charge but the trial has not been concluded as yet. Learned counsel for the State has opposed the prayer for bail and submitted that out of 11 witnesses, 10 have already been examined on behalf of the prosecution. Considering the stage of trial, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.
