Heard the learned Standing Counsel for the respondents. 2. Learned Standing Counsel for the respondents submits that the engagement of the employees by the petitioners at the subject sub-station is only for a period of one year. The period of contract has already been lapsed two decades ago. Therefore, no cause survives for further adjudication in this matter and the Writ Petition becomes infructuous. 4. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is closed as infructuous. There shall be no order as to costs.
