The complainant has filed the present complaint alleging willful disobedience of the order dated 30.09.2021 passed by the learned Single Judge of this Court in Writ Petition No.23625/2015 (KLR-RR/SUR). In terms of the said order, the accused (Tahsildar, Tumakuru Taluk) was directed to consider the complainant's representation dated 29.07.2013 and carryout phodi and durasth in regard to the lands falling in Sy.No.9 of Kambalapura Village, Hebbur Hobli, Tumakuru Taluk, after giving notice to all stakeholders. The accused has issued an endorsement dated 26.11.2025, which indicates that the original grant file is not available in the record room. Therefore, durasth cannot be conducted and further, a letter dated 21.11.2025 is also sent for action to be taken regarding the missing file. 3. In view of the above, we are unable to accept that any proceedings under Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 are required to be initiated. 4. The complaint is accordingly closed. 5. We, however, clarify that this order will not preclude the complainant from availing of substantive remedies, if any, in accordance with law. 6. Pending IAs., if any, also stand disposed of.
