JUSTICE DEVASHIS BARUAH ORDER Date : 22.07.2026 This Court vide an order dated 24.06.2026 had sought for instructions from the Petitioners in view the direction issued by the District Commissioner, Dibrugarh for shifting of the Bus and Traveller Stand to the Murulidhar Jalan Bus Terminus from 22.06.2026. 2. The learned counsel for the Petitioners submitted that the order dated 22.06.2026 raises a fresh cause of action and the earlier cause of action for which the instant writ petition was filed no longer survives. 3. Ms. M. D. Borah, the learned Standing counsel for the Transport Department submitted that the Murulidhar Jalan Bus Terminus has been operating since 22.06.2026. 4. In view of the submissions made by the Petitioners, the instant writ petition therefore stands closed. 5. Before parting with the records, this Court however Page No.# 3/3 observes that the closure of the instant writ petition shall not prejudice or preclude the Petitioners to challenge the order dated 22.06.2026, if so advised and permissible under law. 6.
