The petitioner is an accused in connection with Rajrappa PS Case No. 78 of 2022. It has been alleged that the petitioner had created two fake profiles of the informant on Facebook and started uploading edited obscene photographs of the informant. A demand of Rs.2,00,000/- was also made. Although it has been submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is in custody since 30.11.2025 and he does not have any criminal antecedent but regard being had to the specific nature of allegation levelled against the petitioner, which has defamed the informant, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
