GP FOR FINANCE PLANNING 4 The Court made the following Order: The petitioners are seeking release of the financial assistance of the 2nd , 3rd and 4th installments of Rs.37,31,415/-, and flight tickets charges of Rs.53,095 /- (Fifty Three Thousand Ninety Five) and also visa fee of Rs.15,540 (Fifteen Thousand Five Hundred Forty) totaling to an amount of Rs.38,00,050 /- (Thirty Eight Lakh Fifty) under the “Jagananna Videshi Vidya Deevena” Scheme. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioners that the 1st installment was released by the respondents, but the respondents have not released the balance installments. 2. The learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submits that the respondents have not rejected or cancelled the petitioners’ benefit under the Scheme. 1st installment is already released and the balance amount pending will be released subject to the availability of necessary funds. 3. Considering the submissions made, the Writ Petition is disposed of, directing the respondents to verify and release the amounts sanctioned to the petitioners under the said scheme within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
