The petitioner claims to be a college imparting pharmacy education. The petitioner has annexed documents to show that the consent of affiliation was provided by the West Bengal State Council of Technical & Vocational Education and Skill Development for the session 2022-2023. The Pharmacy Council of India also approved the affiliation of the college for the session 2023-2024. 2. The petitioner is aggrieved as the affiliation status of the college is not reflected in the portal of the Pharmacy Council of India for the session 2025-2026. 3. Admission for the academic year 2026-2027 is ongoing. Submission of the college is that till the Pharmacy Council of India uploads the approval status of the college in the official website, the petitioner is
2 not getting affiliation from the affiliating body of the State. 4. The writ petition was mentioned in the morning and the same is taken up for consideration on urgent basis upon notice to the respondents. 5. Learned advocate representing the Pharmacy Council of India is unable to obtain instruction from his client within such short period of time. 6. In view of the above, the instant writ petition stands disposed of by directing the Pharmacy Council of India to take necessary steps for uploading the approval status of the petitioner in its official website in accordance with law for the session 2025-2026, if not already done. 7. If for any reason the status of the college cannot be uploaded, the same shall be intimated to the College and the State affiliating body forthwith. 8. Steps shall be taken by the Pharmacy Council of India at the earliest in view of the fact that the admission for the course is scheduled to close tomorrow. 9. In the event the Pharmacy Council of India approves the affiliation of the petitioner, then the State affiliating body shall take necessary consequential steps in this regard.

10. All parties shall act on the basis of a server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. 11. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities. (Amrita Sinha, J.)
