The interlocutory application is filed seeking impleadment of the following authorities :- ‘The Chief Electrical Inspector-cum-Advisor, Government of Assam, 1st Floor, West End Block, Housefed Complex, Dispur, Guwahati – 781006. The Executive Engineer, Assam State Electricity Board [ASEB], Nagaon Electrical Division, Panigaon Chariyali, Pioli Phukan Road, Panigaon, Choto Haibor, District Page No.# 3/3 – Nagaon, Assam, Pin – 782003.’ as the party-respondent no. 3 and the party-respondent no. 5 in the accompanying writ petition. 3. The applicant as the writ petitioner has preferred the accompanying writ petition, W.P. [C] no. 2585/2026 seeking compensation in respect of the death of her son, namely, Ziabur Rahman, who had allegedly died on 10.08.2022 due to electrocution. 4. It is averred that for adjudication of the issues involved in the accompanying writ petition, the presence of the afore-mentioned two authorities as party-respondents is necessary. 5. The learned counsel appearing for the opposite parties have submitted that they have no objection if the afore-mentioned two authorities are impleaded as party-respondents in the accompanying writ petition. 6. I have gone through the statements and averments made in the application and considering the issue raised and involved in the accompanying writ petition, I am of the considered view that the presence of the afore-mentioned two authorities are necessary. Accordingly, the instant interlocutory application is allowed. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
