By the present writ petition, the petitioner seeks direction upon the respondent authorities particularly the West Bengal Board of Primary Education to allow the petitioner to participate in the interview process for selection of Special Education Teachers in Government aided/Government sponsored primary/junior basic schools in the State of West Bengal vide notification No.2061/WBBBPE/2025/ 60R-09/25 dated 15th September, 2025. 2. Mr. Sudipta Dasgupta, learned Advocate for the petitioner submits that the petitioner participated in Teachers Eligibility Test (in short <TET=), 2012. Initially the petitioner was declared unsuccessful in TET, 2012. However, subsequently pursuant to the 2 order of the Hon’ble Court one mark was awarded to all the candidates for a wrong question in TET, 2012. Upon award of one mark the petitioner qualified in TET, 2012. However, the list was not published. For such reason, the petitioner once again appeared in TET, 2025 pursuant to the notification dated 15th September, 2025. The petitioner did not qualify in TET, 2025. On 16th January, 2026 the merit list of TET 2012 was published showing the petitioner as qualified. The petitioner presently intends to participate in the ongoing interview on the basis of her TET, 2012 qualification. 3. Mr. Subir Sanyal, learned Senior Advocate representing the West Bengal Board of Primary Education submits that the averments made in paragraphs 10 and 12 of the writ petition are not correct. The petitioner in year 2022 had the knowledge that she qualified in TET, 2012. Be that as it may, he informs the Court upon instruction that Board would allow the petitioner to participate in the ongoing interview process tomorrow, i.e. on 25th March, 2026 at 2.00 pm at the Office of the West Bengal Board of Primary Education for selection of Special Education Teachers in Primary School. 4. In view of the above, West Bengal Board of Primary Education is directed to act in light of submissions advanced before this Court on its behalf. 3 5. Accordingly, the writ petition being WPA 7075 of 2026 stands disposed of. 6. Since no affidavits have been called for, the allegation made in the writ petition is deemed to be not admitted. 7. Interim order, if any, stands vacated. 8. All connected applications, if any, stand disposed of. 9. There shall be no order as to costs. 10. All concerned parties shall act in terms of the copy of the order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. 11.
