Instant writ petition is filed by the petitioner with following prayer:- (i) respondents be directed to revoke the suspension of registration certificate of the vehicles of the petitioners; (ii) cost of writ petition may also be awarded in favour of petitioner; (iii) and may pass any other order(s) which this Hon’ble Court deems just and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case. 2. Issue notice to respondents. [2026:RJ-JP:29856] (2 of 2) [CW-13903/2026] 3. Mr. S.S. Naruka, AAG accepts notice on behalf of respondents. Office is directed to reflect his name as counsel for respondents. 4. Learned AAG submits that writ petition is premature and the petitioner is having an alternative remedy, in case of suspension of Registration Certificate (RC). He further submits that if a challan is prepared by concerned authority then the appropriate remedy before the petitioner is to seek invocation of jurisdiction of criminal court and not the writ court. 5. Considering aforesaid, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that a liberty be granted to him to take recourse of alternative remedy available under the law including under the MV Act or the Taxation Act. 6. Acordingly, the writ petition is disposed of as withdrawn with liberty as aforesaid. 7. Misc. application(s), if any, stands disposed of. (ASHOK KUMAR JAIN),J 5-ANAND
