Hon’ble Alok Kumar Verma,J. The present Writ Petition has been filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India with the following prayers :- “(I) Issue an appropriate writ, order, or direction, to the court of learned Civil Judge (Sr. Div.), Dehradun to expedite the proceedings of the Original Suit no.06 of 2019 "Avtar Singh vs Prakash Kaur (deceased) & others" presently pending before it within a stipulated time frame as provided by this Hon'ble Court. (II) Pass such further orders or directions which this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the present case. (III) Award the cost of the petition.” 2. Mr. Rishab Ranghar, Advocate, submitted that issues have already been framed. He has requested to direct the concerned Civil Judge to decide the said Original Suit expeditiously. 3. The said prayer is an innocuous prayer. 1 2026:UHC:1066 4. The present Writ Petition (WPMS No. 371 of 2026) is disposed of with a direction to the concerned Civil Judge to expedite the proceedings of the Original Suit No. 6 of 2019 and decide the same expeditiously as per law and without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties. 5.
