JUSTICE S.R.KRISHNA KUMAR ORAL ORDER In this petition, petitioners seek the following reliefs: (i) Issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to pay the monthly salary to petitioners from the month of June 2024 till the month of February 2025 and further directing the respondents to pay the monthly salary from the month of February 2025 regularly. (ii) Issue writ of mandamus directing the respondents not to withhold the monthly salary of petitioners and pay the same to them promptly & regularly. - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:22450 WP No. 9700 of 2025 (iii) Issue any appropriate writ, order or direction in the Circumstances of the case including an order as to costs to meet the ends of justice.” 2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned AGA for the respondents and perused the material on record. 3. In addition to reiterating the various contentions urged in the petition and referring to the material on record, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks to issue directions to the respondents in relation to the arrears of salary payable to them and also not to withhold the months salary of the petitioners and to pay the same regularly. 4. Per contra, learned AGA for the respondents submits that if reasonable time is given, the respondents would consider and pass necessary orders in relation to the salary payable to the petitioners. 5. In view of the aforesaid facts and circumstances and rival submissions, the concerned respondents are hereby directed to address the grievances of the petitioners in relation to payment of their salaries, arrears, etc., and pass appropriate order in - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:22450 WP No. 9700 of 2025 accordance with law, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6. Liberty is reserved in favour of the petitioner to file fresh representation and the respondents are directed to consider the same, in accordance with law. 7.
