Petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking following reliefs. “10.1 That, the Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to issue a writ in the nature of certiorari/ mandamus and quash the impugned order dated 18.09.2025 (Annexure P-1) with respect to petitioner. 10.2 That, this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to grant any other relief, which is deemed fit and proper in the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case.” 2. Learned counsel for petitioner submits that petitioner who is posted as Assistant Revenue Inspector and posted at Gobra Navapara, Municipal Council, District Raipur is transferred to Nagar Palika, Sariya, district PAWAN KUMAR JHA Digitally signed by PAWAN KUMAR JHA 2 / 2 Sarangarh-Bilaigarh. He contended that office of Municipal Council, Gobra Nawapara looking to the shortage of employees has passed a resolution to seek cancellation of transfer of petitioner vide resolution dated 24.09.2025 and thereafter request letter was sent to Respondent No. 1 on 26.09.2025. Respondent No. 1 has not taken any decision on the letter written by Respondent No. 2 and therefore direction be issued to Respondent No. 1 to consider the request letter forwarded by Respondent No. 2 at the earliest which will also be helpful to petitioner. 3. Learned counsel for the respective respondents submit that in view of the limited prayer made by learned counsel for petitioner, they are having no objection. 4. On due consideration of the submission made by learned counsel for the respective parties and further considering that Respondent No. 2-Municipal Council, Gobra Navapara has passed resolution seeking cancellation of the order of transfer, so far as it relates to petitioner and further has forwarded request letter in this regard to Respondent No. 1 on 26.09.2025, instead of keeping this writ petition pending seeking reply from respondents, this writ petition at this stage is disposed of directing Respondent No. 1 to take decision on the letter dated 26.09.2025, in accordance with law, expeditiously, preferably within a further period of 02 weeks from the date of receipt of copy of order passed by this Court. 5.
