Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that only 8 pieces of FICN were recovered from the possession of the present petitioner and he is in custody for more than 4 years. Learned advocate for the State on the other hand submits that it is not only the fake currencies but also ATM, Aadhaar Cards of different persons being recovered. Petitioner was arrested pursuant to statement of the principal accused who has already been pleaded guilty and sentence has already been imposed. I find that there are charges under the UAPA against the present petitioner. State would expedite the process of the case. Learned Trial Court is directed to fix at least two schedule in a month considering the period of detention of the present petitioner. Each schedule must consists of 3 dates.
2 Prosecution has relied upon 10 witnesses to prove its case and only 3 witnesses till date has been examined. All efforts be exerted so that the prosecution witnesses are completed by 30th April, 2026. Petitioner would be at liberty to approach this Court after the said period is over. Accordingly, CRM (M) 1661 of 2025 is dismissed. Case diary be returned to the learned advocate appearing for the State. All parties shall act in terms of server copy of the order downloaded from the official website of this Court. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
