The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submits that the petitioners have filed these writ petitions aggrieved by the action of respondent Nos.3 and 4 in refusing to accept the II Semester examination fee from the petitioners’ institution and consequently denying permission to the duly eligible students of the petitioners’ institution to appear in the II Semester examinations. 2. It is further submitted by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners that, after filing of the writ petition, respondent Nos.3 and 4 have permitted the students of the petitioners’ college to appear in the II Semester examinations and also the III Semester examinations. It is submitted that the IV Semester examinations are commencing shortly and seeks a direction from this Court to appear in the IV Semester examinations. 3. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for respondent Nos.3 and 4 submits that the respondents have no objection and shall permit the students to appear for the IV Semester examinations as well. 4. Recording the same, these writ petitions are disposed off, as it has served its purpose. There shall be no order as to costs.
