The grievance of the petitioner in the instant writ petition is against the action of the respondents in not releasing the amount of Rs.6,84,242/- payable to the petitioner for execution of the work i.e., Construction of RCC Slab Culvert to Jagan Anna Colonies at Nelapadu-1 Layout in Tenali Municipality, the instant writ petition is filed. 3 3. Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, Sri K.Mallikharjuna Moorthy, learned Standing Counsel for Housing appearing for respondent No.6 has placed before the Court a copy of the written instructions received from the District Head-Housing (FAC), Guntur. A perusal of the same would reflect that the gross amount as claimed is Rs.7,54,241/-, after deduction of Rs.1,82,058/- the net amount payable to the petitioner is admitted as Rs.5,72,183/-. 4. Having regard to the above as Rs.5,72,183/- is an admitted amount, this Court deems it appropriate to dispose of the writ petition with a direction to the respondents to release the admitted bill amount of Rs.5,72,183/- to the petitioner within a period of four (04) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5. With the above observation, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.
