K M KRISHNA REDDY The Court made the following: 3 ORDER: This contempt case is filed against the respondents for willful disobedience of the order dated 22.02.2024 passed by this Court in I.A.No.1 of 2024 in W.P.No.4602 of 2024. 2. The Collectors of NTR District and Nellore District appeared through virtual mode and submitted that the caste certificate had been issued, though with some delay. The delay was neither willful nor wanton, but was due to administrative reasons. It is further submitted that there was a communication gap in identifying whether the Collector, NTR District, or the Collector, Nellore district, was required to issue the caste certificate. It is submitted that the non-issuance of the caste certificate within the stipulated time was neither willful nor deliberate, and an unconditional apology was tendered. 3. Ms.Karuna, learned counsel representing Sri Jada Sravan Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner, would submit that the authorities have issued the caste certificate. 4. In view of the submissions made, and having been satisfied with the explanation given by the respective District Collectors for the delay, the Contempt Case is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
