This Contempt Petition has been filed alleging wilful disobedience of the order dated 08.09.2025, passed in Writ Petition No. 1689 of 2023 (S/S), “Praveen Lal and Another vs. State of Uttarakhand and Others”. By the said order, following directions were issued:- “8. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of by permitting both the petitioners to make separate representation to the District Education Officer (Elementary), Champawat, within ten days from today. If petitioners make representation within stipulated time, the District Education Officer concerned shall examine the matter and take decision, as per law, within eight weeks thereafter.” 2. Heard Mr. Pradeep Chamyal, learned counsel for the petitioners and Mr. Sudhir Kumar Nailwal, learned counsel for the respondent. 3. Mr. Pradeep Chamyal, Advocate, submitted on instructions that the said order dated 08.09.2025 has been 1 2026:UHC:873 complied with by the respondent. Therefore, the petitioner does not want to pursue the present contempt petition further. 4. For the foregoing reasons, this Contempt Petition does not require any further consideration.
