V V SATISH The Court made the following: 3 ORDER: This contempt case is filed against the respondents for willful disobedience of the order dated 11.08.2023 passed by this Court in I.A.No.1 of 2023 in W.P.No.20508 of 2023. 2. The interim measure was complied with. However, the authorities restored the power supply and disconnected it again, contending that notice had been served on the owner. 3. The contention of the petitioner is that the notice might have been served on the owner, but the same was not served on the petitioner, being the occupant of the said house. There is some force in the contention. 4. In view of the above, the Contempt Case is closed, directing the respondents to forthwith restore the power supply. However, the petitioner is at liberty to file an appropriate application in the contempt case in the event the respondents do not comply with the directions now passed in the closed Contempt Case. There shall be no order as to costs.
