Since, the statement of the petitioner has already been recorded and in view of the allegations leveled in the FIR, the Court is of the opinion that the custodial interrogation of the petitioner may not be necessary at this stage. Accordingly, the interim protection granted to the petitioner is hereby made absolute during the period of investigation.
