The grievance of the petitioner is directed against disconnection of electricity to the premises of the petitioner. 2. The Report filed on behalf of the WBSEDCL is kept with the records. It appears from the report that the petitioner is a habitual defaulter and there is a staggering amount in excess of Rs.5 lacs which is due and payable by the petitioner. There are also allegations of the pilferage against the petitioner. 3. In any event, in view of the huge amount on account of electricity arrears there is no question of entertaining this writ petition. The petitioner has been unable to make out any case for reconnection. There is also no equity in favour of the petitioner. 4. In such circumstances, WPA 4037 of 2026 stands dismissed.
