1. Petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking following reliefs:
“10.1 That this Hon'ble Court be pleased call for entire records of the case. 10.2 That this Hon'ble Court be please to direct the respondents to pay the amount of GPF to the petitioner as per GPF Passbook i.e. Rs.8,98,680/-along with interest thereon from the date of entitlement till the date of actual payment, in the interest of justice. 10.3 This Hon'ble Court be further pleased to direct the respondents to provide adequate compensation to the petitioner for delayed payment and mental agony, in the interest of justice. Any other relief, which this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper, may also be passed in favour of the petitioner.”

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner after her superannuation was entitled to receive sum of Rs.8,98,680/- towards provident fund, however, petitioner has been paid sum of Rs.3,79,380/- only. Petitioner thereafter had submitted representation before the Principal as also Office of Accountant General, however, no decision has been taken on representation.

Learned counsel for respondent No.7 submits that petitioner has been authorized payment of entire amount which was due to be paid according to GPF account of petitioner available in the office of Accountant General. He further submits that pleadings made in writ
3 / 3 petition about the sum of Rs.4,72,725/- as on 31.03.2024 is concerned, in the bottom of that document it is clearly mentioned that it is provisional amount means, it is to be re-calculated at the time of final calculation considering entire record.
4. I have heard learned counsel for the parties and also perused the documents available on record.
5. According to submission made by learned counsel for petitioner and pleadings made it appears that petitioner has raised dispute that she has not been paid entire amount which is due to petitioner as per GPF account maintained by respondent- State as also office of Accountant General.

In the aforementioned facts of case, I find it appropriate to dispose of this writ petition directing respondent No.4 and 8 to forward all the records relating to GPF account of petitioner to the office of respondent No.7/Accountant General within a period of 45 days and thereafter respondent No.7 shall fix the date for appearance of the petitioner as also respondent No.4 in their office for verifying the records by issuing notice to them within further period of 1 month thereafter. The respondent No.7 shall thereafter pass an order afresh on the claim of petitioner within further period of one month.
7. It is ordered accordingly.
8. Writ petition stands disposed of with above observations and directions. Sd/---
