Hussain, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the accused- applicants. Also heard Mr. K. Baishya, learned Addl. P.P., representing the State of Assam. 2. This is an application filed under Section 482 of the BNSS, 2023, praying for grant of pre-arrest bail to the accused-applicants in connection with Juria P.S. Case No. 134/2026, registered under Sections 118(2)/3(5) of the BNS, 2023. 3. An FIR was lodged on 26.05.2026 alleging that on 19.05.2026 at 11 AM, a quarrel took place between the informant and the accused applicants regarding a pumpkin plant standing on the bank of a pond, and during the quarrel, the complainant got injured and had a fracture. 4. In view of the aforesaid FIR, police registered Juria P.S. Case No. 134/2026. 5. Though the Case Diary was called for, the updated Case Diary has not yet been received. 6. Taking into account the allegations made in the FIR, as well as submissions made by the counsel appearing for the respective parties, this Court is of the opinion that pre-arrest bail should be granted to the accused applicants. 7. Accordingly, it is directed that in the event of arrest of the accused applicants Page No.# 3/3 in connection with Juria P.S. Case No. 134/2026, the accused applicants shall be granted bail on furnishing a bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) each with one surety of like amount to the satisfaction of the arresting authority, subject to the condition that the accused applicants shall appear before the Investigating Officer within a period of 10 days of passing of order today and cooperate with the investigation and make themselves available before the Investigating Officer as and when called for. 8.
