2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Civil Supplies. 3. Case of the petitioner, in brief, is that she is the permanent dealer of Fair Price Shop No.0905030 at Mudivarthi Village, Vidavalur Mandal, SPSR Nellore District. It is stated that, on 03.10.2015, her authorization as a Fair Price Shop dealer was suspended vide Proceedings No.Rc.C.46/2014 by 4th respondent herein, based on the report submitted by 5th respondent herein. Aggrieved by the said order, the petitioner preferred an appeal before 3rd respondent. It is further stated that 3rd respondent, dismissed the same on 22.07.2025, with a liberty to the petitioner to prefer a revision before 2nd respondent herein within a period of 30 days. Further aggrieved by the said order of 3rd respondent, the petitioner filed Revision Petition No.R.C.B.2.133/2025 before 2nd respondent, who is the competent authority, on 01.08.2025. 4. Grievance of the petitioner is that, though the revision petition has been pending before 2nd respondent for a considerable period, no notice has been issued to the petitioner till date. It is also stated that the petitioner has been approaching the office of 2nd respondent in this regard. Aggrieved by the inaction of 2nd respondent in considering the said revision petition, the petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition. 4 SRK, J WP.No.26616 of 2026
5.
The short question that arises for consideration in the present Writ Petition is whether 2nd respondent can be directed to consider and dispose of Revision Petition No.R.C.B.2.133/2025 filed by the petitioner on 01.08.2025 under Section 24(b) of the Andhra Pradesh State Targeted Public Distribution System (Control) Order, 2018. Though the said revision petition was filed in August, 2025, it has remained pending for nearly one year and, till date, no orders have been passed thereon by 2nd respondent. 6. In view of the facts and circumstances of the case, and without going into the merits of the matter, this Court is of the opinion that 2nd respondent shall consider and dispose of Revision Petition No.R.C.B.2.133/2025 filed by the petitioner, in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 7. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. As a sequel thereto, the miscellaneous applications, if any, pending in this Writ Petition, shall stand closed
